Please take a look at the shifts you've signed up for this summer (in SwimTopia) and make sure they don't interfere with any trips or vacations you have planned. Although we have many families who are willing, if necessary, to pick up any slack and cover more than their six required shifts, it's not fair to ask them to do that. Therefore, if at any point in the season, you realize that you won't be able to cover one of your volunteer shifts, please let a member of the board (not the coaches) know as soon as possible. At that time, please also let us know what meets you are available to volunteer so that we can work on finding someone to swap shifts with you. Of course, emergencies do happen, and we certainly won't hold those against you. However, if you already know you'll be on vacation, your child will be at camp, etc., during a meet you're scheduled to work, again, please don't hesitate to let us know.
