Season Dates

The 2026 swim season is June 1st to July 25th!

See practice schedule below.

Meets will be Wednesday evenings, June 10th-July 22nd, starting at 6pm. See "Meets & Events" for exact dates and info.

Swimmer evaluations TBD for all new swimmers.

Champs will be held July 24th and 25th.

End-of-year awards will be held on July 27th.

You do not need to be a member of the country club to join. However, if you are interested in all they have to offer, please visit their website, www.countryclubofculpeper.com!

Practice Schedule

Practices will be held Monday-Thursday evenings and Friday mornings. There are typically two groups as follows:

Group 1: 7:00-7:45pm M-Th & 9:30-10:30am Fri
Group 2: 7:45-8:30pm M-Th & 8:30-9:30am Fri

Groups are determined by the Head Coach after registration has ended and is based on age and ability. You will be notified of your child's assigned group before the first practice.

There will not be practices on meet days. See schedule for other dates.

It is not mandatory to attend every practice. Attend as many as you can or want!

Team Fees

2026 season fees are:

$270 for the first swimmer; $120 for each additional swimmer

Team fees include a swim cap and end-of-year awards. Team T-shirts are available on our SwimOutlet Store.

Eligibility

Swimmers should be able to swim freestyle unassisted for 25 meters (1 length of the pool), tread water, and float.

Swimmers must be 5 years old by June 1st of the current season and must be no older than 18 on June 1st. 18-year-olds must still be in or have just finished high school.

Swim Wear

For practices, it is recommended that girls wear one-piece swimsuits and boys wear either a speedo or jammer style swimsuit. Additionally, swimmers may wear goggles and/or a swim cap.

For meets, swimmers are asked to wear either black or purple swimsuits to promote team unity. Additionally, if they elect to wear a swim cap, it is preferred that they wear their team cap.

Policies

Swim team takes commitment! We have a Volunteer Policy that at least one adult from each family must fulfill 6 points worth of volunteer shifts for swim meets, whether or not their swimmer(s) compete.
